Mr. Madis-Marius Vahtre, General Manager, Madis has educational background from Tartu University Faculty of Economics, specialized in marketing, entrepreneurship and technology management. Over 10 year marketing and sales management experience from leading sales teams in Estonia. Madis has been involved in leading different successful R&D projects, some of them partly funded by EU. From 2005 has acted together with an investment company Honey Investments Ltd, specialising on investments to technology based start-up's. From early 2008 joined Visitret Displays as full time GM.
Mr. Jüri Liiv, Head Technology Manager, Jüri has a professional background of semiconductor technology engineering, having education also in physics and history. Jüri has worked successfully as a business manager, has acted as a personal adviser of Estonian President and Prime Minister and has leaded national innovation projects in Estonia, e.g. Külatee project to cover the whole country with internet access points. Duringperiod of 2002-2007 has been active in developing wireless internet devices and networks. Currently specialised in research work about surface effects of polymer materials. Author of several patents and patent applications related to e-paper applications.
Dr. Toomas Tenno, Senior Technology Consultant, Ph. D in chemistry, professor of colloid and environmental chemistry. Former vice-dean of Faculty of Chemistry and former dean of Faculty of Education of Tartu University. Member in different professional organisations as Royal Society of Chemistry, American Chemical Society, Federation of European Chemical Societies etc.
Dr. Jaak Järv, Senior Technology Consultant, Doctor of Medical Sciences (Uppsala, Sweden), Ph. D Honorary Causa (Kuopio, Finland), Doctor of Sciences in Physical Biochemistry (Moscow, Russia), Ph. D in chemistry (Estonia). Estonian National Science Award 2000. Professor of organic chemistry in University of Tartu. President of Estonian Biochemical Society. Member of The Biochemical Society (UK), American Chemical Society etc.
Mr. David Honey, Senior Business Consultant, David has a wealth of experience in the UK finance, telecommunications and media sectors. Between 1985 and 2004 he worked as a consultant for clients such as: JP Morgan, Citibank, Prudential, the BBC, Pearson Television, O2, and Vodafone. In 1988, after three years with Deloittes in London, as a managing consultant, David started up his own specialist project management consultancy, Opta Consulting. In more recent times David has been described as a ‘serial entrepreneur’ on the back of his unique experience in financing and managing business start-ups, both large and small; from Prudential Bank and egg, to Opta Index (sold to BSkyB), Opta Consulting (sold to US consulting giant SAIC), SiteConfidence (sold to NCC), and Oh-So Ltd (private sale). David is also a founding shareholder and director in Estonian based investment company Honey Investments Ltd.
